Keady Academy of Irish Dancing is run by
Fiona Keady T.C.R.G.
registered under An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha.
The school has continued to grow since its beginnings and our main aim for every dancer is to enjoy themselves! Whilst we encourage participation in competitions and being successful, the school prides itself on good sportsmanship. With Irish Dancing also comes intricate rhythms, co ordination, fancy footwork, confidence and learning to perform to an audience.
Fiona started dancing aged three and a half and competed both individually and as part of a team. Aged between eight and nine, Fiona won 9 Championships in one year and continued with a very successful dancing career. Along with many achievements, Fiona was part of various exhibitions at local theatres and festivals and featured in several TV shows.
After moving to the McPartland School, Fiona qualified for the World Championships in 2003 and went on to successfully pass her T.C.R.G examination in 2006.
